looking for a high quality round brilliant engagement ring

Location: Scotland - airdrie
Value: £5.000+

Description:

I am selling my engagement ring and wedding band after only wearing from July '13.Both were bought as two separate rings, both from ROX in the argyle arcade. The combined value of these rings are £5,500 and since it is so difficult to get your money back for diamonds after you buy them from a store, I am looking to buy a beautiful ROUND BRILLIANT SOLITAIRE in either platinum or white gold with a minimum of 1ct in diamond weight.

The details of both rings are as follows:

The engagement ring

bought from ROX.
Value - £2200
GIA Certified (will come with all docs)
Marquise Brilliant cut
Carat weight - 0.51
clarity - SI1
Color - D (this is the best colour you can get)
18 ct white gold

Because I had a small piece of the structure cut out of the back of the engagement ring to make a wedding ring and engagement ring set, there is a small piece of the structure missing For this reason I will only sell as a set because I wouldn't be able to sell the engagement ring on its own now without the wedding band.

Here are the details of the wedding band:

Diamond wedding band/eternity ring

Also bought from ROX in Glasgow

The value is 3285.00
The ring is set with 10 princess cut diamonds and weighs a total of 1 carats in diamond weight
colour - f-g
clarity - vs1 - vs2
18 ct white gold

Both rings make a stunning set and I am sure any potential fiance would be thrilled to be presented with these on a proposal. I was very proud to wear these and loved how much they flashed as they are high quality diamonds. Both rings can still be purchased at ROX just now on the website. The wedding band is actually an eternity band, but many women like an eternity band instead of a wedding band for the wow factor. Both could use a rhodium plating which can be carried out easily by taking it into a jeweller. This will ensure that the rings look like new and will restore the gold colour back to looking like new. With white gold this has to be done every 1-2 year anyway, unlike platinum which never fades. Platinum doesnt have the same shiny finish though (its more milky finish) and is way more expensive.

Any questions please ask.

I can offer:
my engagement ring was £3,000 from Rox - 0.54ct marquise cut
my wedding band was actually an eternity band and was also from rox. Its set with 10 princess cut diamonds all of high quality and is 1 ct in weight. I have all certificates for both rings and don't have pics right now at work at time of listing but can get them no problem. I just took the pics from the rox site where they are still for sale with a combined price of around £7,000

I would also get them both cleaned and polished up although they are like new. both are a size k and 18 ct white gold, excellent diamond quality also..I bought both separate but have had them made into a set, by having a pieve of the structure of the engagement ring taken out the back so that it sits flush. but if worn on its own you would never know.
