Tablet or a desktop PC wanted for my swapz

Description:

My laptop seems to be on its last legs and since I never move it I could do with a desktop PC.
Would also not mind a half decent tablet to save me reading on my phone
e.g. samsung, Htc, Blackberry, don't want one of those no-name cheapo tablets that can't even be updated or you can't download apps only because even the operating system is not genuine android(had an Archos and don't want another one again)
