1999 Honda Civic 1.4i S 5 Door Hatchback Silver

For sale or swap is our 1999 Honda Civic 1.4i S 5 door hatchback in Silver.

It has been our run around for the last 6 months or so, purchased after some kind soul wrote off my van. We have however just inherited a newer shape civic with half the mileage in showroom condition from my wife’s mother so this one is surplus to requirements.

It has only done 105,000 miles, which is barely run in for a Honda and works out as below average mileage of just 7000 miles a year.

It has a valid MOT certificate until 25th February 2015 and is currently taxed until the end of February although due to new government regulations, the tax is not transferable to the new owner. It is however only £79 for 6 months.

I will quite happily put another 12 months MOT on it by separate negotiation if required. Please send me a message if you wish to discuss this.

Bad bits:

A few age related marks on the bodywork although it is really very clean for the age of it. NO visible rust.

Some kind soul 'borrowed' the badges off the back leaving the foam adhesive stuff. I will endeavor to remove this before the car goes but I can't promise anything.

It has been a sterling little car and has never let us down as you would expect from Japan’s leading vehicle manufacturer. It goes, stops and steers just as it should and has many more years’ service left in it yet.

Finally, the car does not come with any warranty or come back. I have been as forthcoming and honest about the car as I possibly can but it is 15 years old so is not showroom fresh. I am not a dealer so am not obliged to offer any such service. With this in mind, please check the car over thoroughly and make sure you’re happy with what you’re paying for before you drive it away as you won’t be bringing it back. Any inspection is more than welcome and indeed encouraged.
