1981 VW MK1 GOLF GLS mega rare inari silver

Here i have for sale my beautiful mk1! First i will say im only selling as i need something that can be better used as a daily driver as my new job means i have to commute over 20miles a day.

The car is all original apart from the pressed plates, everything works and it runs well.
Has had:
- a recent service
- cambelt change
- new clutch cable
- new rear brake drum
- 2x new rear wheel bearings.
- 4 new continental tyres.

10 months mot.

Also i have just had £300 of welding done as it needed it to pass its mot ( all 4 wheel arches and both sills )

I wont say too much as i think with a car like this its best to come and have a look if you're genuinely interested.

There are a few bad points..
steering wheel is not on straight, the drivers seat is very worn, brakes are a little spongy but work well, bits of rust bubbling in places.

MILAGE
clocks show 52000, however from the previous MOTs you can see this is accurate from 2008, however after this the clocks stopped working. the car has not done high milage since this as i have not used it excessively and the previous owner did not own it as a daily! please note rev counter and speedometer work correctly



This car is great fun to drive and turns a lot of heads but please remember it is over 30 years old, the clutch is heavy, it has no power steering and it can be pretty noisy.
