Mk4 golf 2.0l cab

I'm afraid I'm going to have to swap my beloved golf :( genuine reason for wanting a swap .. Iv had it a few weeks n basically because I'm new on the road I need a black box fitted .. With it not having stock alloys I may have to cancel the policy with me still being in the cooling of perioud .. (Or find some ally's n keep it ) but I don't know :/ really am abit gutted because I love it and for a first car it's a cracker ...

It's 2.0l 8v and 115 bhp I beleave .. It's done about 96500 miles but will rise as I use it daily .. Can't falt the car drives spot on ..

Bad bits just being honest
Needs new cat for exhaust.. Made a light come on dash plugged it in at garage and its just the cat that needs changing .. Was quoted 100 pluse vat
That's about it really theres a scratch on pass door when some twat keyed it but it's not to bad at all
It's just had a new battery fitted as other died with the weather I think ..

I'm looking for something that's abit more affordable to insure ... Something with a smaller engine pissably a diesel ? What u got :)
