Gibson Les Paul pro lite 2 1988 guitar very rare

Hi all,

Only made for one year 88/89, and hardly any sold.

I love rare guitars and this really is an odd one to find!
Their is next to no info on these, I did a lot of digging and could only find bits and bobs, but from comparing pics etc everything here is how it should be.

As above in great condition, some lacquer checking on the head stock and body
Mahogany body and maple cap,
2 stacked humbuckers, coil tapable.

Original steinberger kb x trem

It is near impossible to find one of these lites with a fully working trem as the posts would bend forward from the string pressure, this one has been adapted so it's very secure and and works properly with no issues at all, posts have been strengthened so this issue will not be a problem in the future.

The split coil toggle has been replaced at some point as it's now a 3 way switch and should only be a 2 way switch, but whoever wired it did a pro job and it works perfectly and looks like the original.... Its a toggle so it's really not an issue!

Action and tone is brilliant,

Comes with a period case.
