1989 Mk2 VW Golf Gti *classic retro hot hatch* *wont start*

After a swap for my mk2 gti!

If you like retro classics you won't need a huge description!

Been looked after well by myself for the last 18 months, 10 months MOT, 4 months tax.

The previous owner I bought it off had plenty of work done to it including, adjustable coilovers, uprated racing pulley, 2.0litre corrado bottom end , which have made it quite nippy but still a really easy drive around town.

MOT passed end of August and work included was new steering rack, small amount of welding, and had a mini service.

Need something more practical but no family estates please I'm a single man and I don't play golf.

Will have to be classed as a non runner as it won't start, the garage have said it's either a fuel, oil or breathing issue which should be a very cheap fix I just don't have the time to sort it out I need a car or money to buy one ASAP!

Gonna be sad to see it go as I know in a few more years it will be worth a small fortune guaranteed :/
