Description:

It's with a heavy heart that I am offering my E32 for sale.

It's a 730ise with Alpina B11 engine and running gear. It's been in my family for 20 odd years, and I know the history of this car inside out. Owned by my Dad since it's Alpina conversion by NCB Autokraft in 92 (using brand new parts from Sytners) and serviced by NCB ever since.

Alpina M30B35 engine, normal M30 but with a cam, headwork, big valves, Alpina inlet (big money on it's own), Mahle pistons, under piston oil squirters, balanced crank and raised compression. Alpina ECU. 265bhp and sounds lovely.

Alpina LSD, these are slighter higher ratio for better acceleration

Alpina hand trimmed leather steering wheel.

Alpina gearstick

KW Coilovers with BC pillow ball camber plates, these coilovers are well over a grand new, not some wanky eBay rubbish.

PLS Evolutions, 17x8.5j and 10j rears, et15 with 15mm adapters. I do have the centre caps but they need painting. One of the barrels is cracked and will need painting. It holds air for 4/5 days at a time so is still drivable for now. I have been quoted £200 by Image wheels to have a new barrel drilled.

These wheels are proper 3 piece splits, and a very rare set at that. Be prepared to have people try and buy them off you every time you fill up the tank haha.

110k, but less on the engine.

Loads of history, all from NCB who did the Alpina conversion in the early 90s.

Electric everything inside.

Stack oil pressure gauge installed.

Kenwood BT92 headunit, really nice piece of kit, with Vibe Space 3 way speakers up front.

It's had new brake pads, disk calipers and lines. New lower arms, upper arms, track rod ends and drop links all within the last 500 miles.

It had £300 spent on welding and other bits for the MOT

Since it was last used it's had new plugs, new oil, new rocker cover gasket, new air filter and a new oil filter.

It currently has the smoked crosshair headlights and the chrome grill fitted, the black grill is included.

The bad bits...

I'll start with the big one, and my reason for sale. The gearbox has let go. If you have the space and patience to remove it, it's actually a fairly simple problem to fix, and costs no more than £50 in parts. If it was summer I'd probably keep it, but doing a gearbox, in the street at this time of year just isn't happening.

Google 'ZF 4HP22 A pack clutch' if you want to research the problem some more. I have 5l of ATF fluid to go with the car ready for when the gearbox comes out.

There are a few tatty bits around the car. There's a stone chip on the sunroof, a slight fold in the front edge of the drivers door.

Cracked barrel as mentioned above

It's had a new wing on it and it's not the best paintjob in the world.

The car has been in my family 20 years and I love it dearly, I won't be happy to see it go, but everything has it's time and I feel the time is right to let this go.

It's got MOT until May.

A10 TDN will be taken off as the plate hold sentimental value, sorting out a new plate as I type this :)

I am asking £2,500 for the car. Given the value of the wheels and engine I feel this is fair regardless of the gearbox. I will happily keep the wheels and knock some off.

Contact me on 07585053001 if you would like to ask any questions!

Cheers for reading,

Olie
