Nice clean audi a3 2l fsi has starting issues

Hi here is my girl friends audi a3 we have owned the car for about 9 months and has been fine but about 8weeks ago due to more mileage we got a smaller cheaper car and left this parked up when I have come to start the car after it not been touched for a while its started and was running abit rough spluttering when a revved it up so I switched it of and asked a mate to come have a look and when he got here it just refused to start he has checked basic things and it hasa spark but seems to me like its not getting fuel but I. No mechanic but have been told could be a filter or pump but think i can hear the pump working when key is turned we do t have any money to spend on the car due to new car and not expecting to have to spend to sell as the car was fine and in use daily before we got the new car ther for selling as non runner it's a really nice car and my girlfriend love it so its a shame to break and I can't see it been anything major as like I say it was spot on it will make a nice car again for some one just need someone who knows abit about cars to spend a few hours tinkering with Italy questions please just mail and ask and feel free if interested to come and have a look and make your mind up before bidding would be willing to export at buyers cost this car also has around 10 months mot and past with only 2 ADVISORYS wich was tyres and have been done and about 4/5 months tax as non runner car is sold/swapped as seen CAR IS NOW ON EBAY
