RARE Baby this one This is a Westone Thunder III V3 made in The Matsumoku Plant in Japan in 1983. These were designed as the Les Paul killer. and It was Buily to the highest possible standard and only using the best materials Westone absolutely nailed it with this baby. Solid deep carved maple body with a set 3 piece maple neck, a rosewood fretboard over with Jumbo frets. This guitar technically speaking was wayyyyyyyyy ahead of its time with coil taps and phase reversal. comes in at the same weight as a Gibson Les Paul (the non chambered variety that is) this is a true war beast. fitted with split coil Mini Blade bucker/Humbucker/Single coil Pickups. The PTT Bridge and tremolo system, This is a rare guitar and to find one in as good condition as this is nigh on impossible The last one of these I sold I sold for £650 (it did have it original case) The is a much lesser thunder II V3 for sale in the USA for £425+ shipping and import taxes. so I will place mine in the middle of that. The guitar is in very good condition with just a couple of small marks. the action is low and buzz free with almost no wear to the frets or the fret board, and everything works as it should so for £500 this baby will beat the arse off any Gibson LP or even the jap Yamaha SG guitars and of course you have the Westone heel-less construction allowing full comfortable access all the way up the neck. NOTHING on the market these days can touch this guitar for build quality or feel
