Hi here is my 1988 e reg grey xr2, I've nt had the vechile long but a cosworth has come up for sale so I.need the cash off this to fund that, we're do.I start well it's moted, there is no service history. It's got its orginal radio ford booklets,, the windows are all etched reged, one key fits all door locks and, ignition barrel it's hpi clear with 15 owners, the pepperpots are date stamped for that year,it's quite a gd car the interior is mint no.rips or tears in the seats, I got another set to make it mint so it's in top notch the only change in the interior is the lockwood white dials but do.have sum standard clocks, now for the engine it was goosed when.I.got it so.I.bought a second hand cvh unit in running order I fort well it's out I will change clutch belts water pump oil pressure swith gaskets and thermostat so everything has been done to.the engine, I had allways wanted a xr2 on twin 40 s so.I bought a set off them with the manifold, I also fort well I was doing that I will add a 4 branch and scorpion exhaust, and change the quad lights bk.to.it's orginal.form so.I sourced all these parts and started to change it then when I.git to.the lights I came to.a stop partly because sum idiot has chopped the slam.panel to.fit the quad lights so it will need a new front panel, to put on road it also needs the airfilterbuying for twin.40 s or u can.use standard carb, the manifold need modifying were it bolts to exhaust and I also have 2 pairs off ford spots it needs one good pare making out off 2, I'm nt to bothered if it don't sell mk2 xr2 s are one off my frav car along with sapphire cosworth s, I.feel need to.get rid because to.Cossie I.can.own.is a bargain. No.silly offers genuine people please, this will make a nice xr2 once done with quite abit off power I also.have Kent adjustable timing wheel.so.it just needs camshaft 07905311971
