Cube Acid 2015 ltd ED
Location: North West England - Liverpool
Swap Value: £500+
Description:
Here I have the cube acid which I have had recently purchased for me but after a few rides I have decided it's not for me it's a real head turner an rides as smooth as who ever buys it wil not be disappointed
Some acids have the capacity to dissolve other materials. Cube's Acid hardtail does just the same with challenging trail sections - virtually making them disappear. With its high-quality frame , the balanced, well-mannered handling and performance oriented component choice leave little to be desired.
Manufacturing technologies keep evolving. With a new 6061 Alu Lite frame with mechanically formed top and down tubes, internal cable routing and chain stay mounted disc tabs, this bike is perfectly future proof. The redesigned Agile Ride Geometry (ARG) delivers the much praised dynamic and balanced handling that will have you ride every trail at top speed and maximum fun. The frame is disc specific and the multi-layer wet paint finish makes it very scratch resistant. With regard to the components, the 100mm Manitou M30 Air suspension fork with remote lockout provides top performance and a touch of exclusivity. The lightweight tapered alloy steerer tube is an unusual feature in this category. A 3x10 Shimano Deore drive train with Compact cranks (22/30/40) and a Direct-Mount XT rear derailleur keeps shifting crisp and precise even under power. The new Shimano BR-M506 hydraulic disc brakes (including Servo-Wave technology) reliably handle braking duties - there's a large 180mm rotor up front for mastering epic downhills. The alloy CUBE cockpit is well integrated with Shimano´s I-Spec mounts.

Technologies:
Wet Paint Surface: On polished, brushed aluminium and all HPC frames, the logos and graphics are applied in multi-layer wet paint. Cube use this surface treatment technology mainly to save weight.
Advanced Mechanical Forming: With their Advanced Mechanical Forming technology Cube can mechanically transform different frame tubes and thus optimise them without material-wearing welding work for the respective requirements. Along the obtained organic look, the production method is primarily motivated by functional reasons. Multiple converted tubes enable the manufacture of lighter and also stiffer aluminium frames.
Aluminium Lite: 6061 aluminium alloy requires a heat treatment for the finished product. It is a stiff, very corrosion resistant, fatigue resistant, high-elongation material suitable for light tubesets with high stiffness.
Integrated Cable Routing: Internally routed cables offer many advantages. Cables are protected from dirt for longer life, weight is saved thanks to the absence of external housing and the bike has a clean, sleek appearance.
