Bought off a friend needing some repairs to get through an MOT which have all been carried out by myself.

I have used the car as a daily driver for the past few months and its never skipped a beat! I drive to Luton every other week so it gets a good run. As well as a drive to the Lake District covering a LOT of miles + trip over Hard knot pass! (Look on youtube at this wicked road over some mountains!)

Since owning the car I have replaced the following...

Complete Exhaust (Downpipe, Cat, Middle section + backbox)
Four brand new tyres for peace of mind (spare is older but still legal)
New rear diff.
New waterpump + top / bottom radiator hoses.
New front discs + pads.
new aux belt.
New trackrod ends + bottom ball joints + tracked
A Parrot kit with LCD screen.
DAB radio.
Chrome genuine landrover side bars

Good points.

The car has covered just over 146k but it still starts, stops, runs & drives absolutely fine. Everything works as it should
Will sit at 70-75mph at around 3k rpm comfortably.
Remote central locking works fine.
The body / underside is rust free completely (was shocked / delighted to find this.
Tow bar fitted with electrics.
It has had a clutch around 40k miles ago according to paperwork and was told a cambelt around then, might find some docs to prove .
Alloy wheels (spare is standard steel rim I sanded / painted black as it looked ugly with all surface rust)

The rear roof is removable as are the targa sunroof above driver / passenger.
Also included is the factory splash guard style (shower curtain) if you wanted to remove the roof in summer.

I have a rare proper cloth folding roof in very good condition with windows however I am missing two brackets needed for this! (around £40 each) that might be available for the right deal, otherwise its going on ebay.

Bad points / niggles.

The gearbox is a little noisy in some gears not whiny , Reverse is usually found with a small crunch as it goes in but does not affect driving in any way.
Handbrake only just holds the car on a hill
The car is 16 years old so please do not expect a new car! There's a few rattles here / there from dashboard.
There are some ugly speakers / grills fitted in driver + passenger door + fold out cup holders but I didn't remove as they are as handy as they are ugly :)
Only one key / central locking fob .

Not in any rush to part with this & completely unsure how to value, Just seeing what I get offered really! Try me! I can only say no.
