The 1000W model is also fitted with brand new turbo/economy technology. Located adjacent to the throttle is the turbo and economy mode switch. When economy mode is selected, the controller limits the output thus restricting the maximum speed to around 28kmh. This has the effect of saving energy with the scooter behaving as if it were a 650W model. The energy-saving economy mode is used for longer rides. When turbo mode is selected, the full power of the 1000W motor kicks in and the scooter is able to achieve its maximum speed. It’s like two scooters rolled into one!
