The car overall is in very good condition with the only rust being the drivers side door (not worth repairing). Because of that I have bought 2 replacement front doors, drivers and passenger, both need painting silver. The doors are from a later car with the wing mirrors further down the door, some people love the 'Type 19' look but personally I don't. This car has had a lot of money spent on it, it's had a late 80's interior, which is in very good condition no rips at all, put in it, all parts including the carpet. The original interior had rips and stains everywhere. I've put a later 5 slat grille on the car as the 7 slat original one was slightly broken however I do still have that. I've got the full plastic wheel arch kit for the small bumper car ready to go on, also have the correct side trims for the doors so they match. It's had a replacement dashboard put in as the original was cracked, glovebox needs fitting though. I've had genuine BBS RA alloy wheels with very good tyres fitted in replacement to the awful steelies it came with, still have the centre caps from those though. I've also got some lowering springs and shocks ready to go on the car. Engine has done 150k but it runs so well, smooth in all gears. The only thing missing on this car is the front bumper, it was heavily cracked and faded so I got rid of it. The rear bumper is fine. The paint work isn't show condition but it is not too bad and will only need touching up in a few places, the dent in the wing is an easy fix and will be hidden with the wheel arch trim anyway. I've not got any service history, however the previous owners have been writing in a book since 1991 ish. There is 2 keys to the car and it also comes with the original dealer number plates. No tax or MOT as it is currently declared SORN, I wanted to do the work on the car before I got it back on the road. I'm not 100% sure I want to sell it yet but I'll advertise it to see what's offered. I'm looking for a swap or a cash sale. I'm located in Stamford, Lincolnshire.
