Description:
Here we have my Astra 2.0l GSI turbo.
Its had loads of money spent out on it! One of the best GSI's around by far! Such a sleeper, looks standard until you open the bonnet ;)
Arden blue with half leather interior in very good condition.
Aircon (needs re gassing) All the extra's including cruise control & traction control switch.
Very nice to drive and has been extremely reliable.
Its running roughly 290bhp at the moment but has the opportunity to go much further as all the engine internals have been replaced from standard to forged including pistons and rods and so on. So this engine is rock solid!
Pistons and rods are "Wossner" and everything needed for the build was brought from Courtney sport!
This is what's been done;
-Wossner pistons.
-Wossner con rods with ARP bolts.
-Miltec stainless downpipe from turbo.
-Scorpion sports cat and scorpion stainless exhaust from sports cat back.
-Recently new VXR LEH turbo with ko4 bearings.
-Forge manual boost controller.
-VXR injectors.
-Uprated wastegate actuator from Courtney.
-Courtney high flow top hat plenum.
-Courtney and Tx Sport pipework.
-Courtney front mount intercooler.
-Cdti airbox conversion & direct route pipe work.
-Courtney heat shield.
-Courtney boost gauge & dash pod.
-Opc Opel grill.
-Courtney fast road clutch.
-Baileys dump valve.
-Rocker cover painted pearl black, with OPC plug cover.
-Lowered on coil-overs (unsure on make, but not to low, gets over speed bumps with ease and a nice ride).
No doubt i have missed things, but any questions feel free to ask!
Have Got a VXR 80mm mass air flow aswell but not fitted yet.
This car has had ALOT of money spent on it, I have receipts of all the work carried out and pictures of the build process. No expense has been spared. I service my car every 5k miles, know this is anal but I like to think "If you treat your car well, it will treat you well", also I only use Castrol fully synthetic oil. I have always let the car warm up before letting it come on boost and always let it cool down for 5 mins. (Unless i have been driving like a granny for the last few miles.)
Last time i had the car on a rolling road it produced 247 Bhp but since then i have had a new actuator fitted as the old one had chewed threads and was not holding boost properly. And i have had a new map which estimates around 290-310 Bhp, and drives really smooth and very very powerful on boost. Since the latest map the difference is mad, feels like a completely different car. Seriously fast and its only boosting at 16-17 psi peek. I think this is a healthy set up as it is stupidly powerful yet nowhere near the limit so still reliable.
There are a few stone chips on the front bumper, there is a little scuff on the back bumper and a scratch down the passengers side door, all these are hardly noticeable and i am only mentioning them to be 100% honest.
Few age related marks. very tidy car and has been well looked after by me and previous owners.
Any questions feel free to inbox me.
I am in no rush to get rid of this car what so ever, so don't offer me any rubbish! Only really testing the water as I love this car. I would maybe swap for a decent, high spec Seat Leon or Golf, BMW, or something Jap.
