This motor has been more than well looked after!! Its one of the last of its kind with the more modern dash insert and laser cut keys.
Over the time this car has had endless amount of time into this car. A list of things that I can remember of as fallows -
Front Pads and discs,
Outer cv boots,
Rear shoes and brake cylinders,
every brake pipe,
full exhaust system including 4 branch manifold (last year)
coil overs
poly bushes both front and rear
strut top mounts front and rear
front drop links
6n2 rear lights
Badge less grill
16v front and rear bumpers
tailgate smoothed
also had other bits and bobs smoothed
full respray (£1200)
16v interior seats and door cards
Both electric window regulators
also has genuine mrk 1 golf pirelli p slot 14" alloys (could do with a refurbish)
new gearbox fitted
last year a fully rebuilt the engine from scratch, only 7000 miles since rebuild.
new big end shells, thrust washers, all new piston rings, honed the cylinders, head core kit and re-lapped valves, as the engine was rebuilt This was all replaced ,timing belt and water pump, sump, clutch, all filters and plugs, new ignition leads and rotor arm, alt belt. the block was sand blasted and painted enamel black, the head silver, also gearbox enamel black. all other components are also painted black or silver. certainly a head turner both outside and under the bonnet.

Car is a 1.4 but has all 1.6 internals so is as quick as the 1.6!!
