NOOBS has a complete kit of software but the most impressive is RasBMC - this is an XBMC version specifically modified to run beautifully on the Raspberry Pi.
XBMC is a home media player, the Raspberry Pi connects to you TV via HDMI and to the internet via Ethernet or an optional USB wifi dongle (not included)
