vw t4 campervan
Location: South East England - dartford
Swap Value: £5.000+
Description:
ok where to start
this is my beautiful t4 campervan.
i have just completed a few days away with her, and she never missed a beat.
it is a camper van on the v5, and is compliant with the lez (low emission zone)
its mot till next june, and tax till the end of november.
its a r reg.
it has 275000 miles, (which will go up as it is still being used) which is not as bad as it sounds, but the engine has been stripped and rebuild and any necessary work carried out proir to me buying it.
it has, like all diesel a little bit of smoke on start up.
its had loads of new parts in my ownership, which is over a year now.
its had a new clutch, slave cylinders, all belts, rear pads and disc, heavy duty battery, starter motor, front discs and pads to list a few.
leisure battery and charging system
inside it has had half leather front seats and matching rear seats fitted.
the passenger seat rotates 360.
the rock and roll bed pulls out to a full lenght of just over 6ft.
there is a brand new two ring hob and sink fitted.
also fitted is the gas bottle; and a water tank under the van. i believe it is 5 gallons.
it also has a new leisure battery.
this is a tiny little fridge which is enough for a pint of milk and cheese.
there are curtains all round, as well as 12v downlighters fitted.
outside i have reverted back to refurb steel wheels, as they offer better comfort and cheaper tyres.
the campervan is lowered approx 60mm, on heavy duty springs.
it also has clear indicators fitted at the front.
the side windows are factory tinted, not a film.
fitted with a tinted windscreen thats no more than a month old.
all in all, i have used this van to go away a few times, and its been wonderful, but like all good things, it needs to go.
only bad bits are a few dents, and scatches on the van. passenger mirror needs a bit of care. but the van is over a decade old, and some.
inside the the only real issue is the drivers seat has a bit of wear on the bolster, i have enough material for it to be patched.
not in a rush to sell it, as i will carry on and use it, my little boy absolutely loves it to bits;
any questions please ask.
i am not a mechanic so dont expect me to off describe everything, as i would not know what, if anything, is wrong.
i am open to visits, but no test drives without money and proof of insurance.
