Description:

1998 Raclet Herald Trailer Tent. Good condition. Minor tears on mud flaps. Well loved and looked after. All in working order. No missing parts.
Included with this trailer tent are:

The trailer, with raised double beds on two sides, including foam matresses, inners, roof liner, etc. The system on this tent means that when you put it up, the inners are already in place. There is a bench seat on each side with a foam seat which becomes part of the bed if required. Under the bench is a storage area. When packed away, there is room for the poles, canvas and more besides in these benches and between them.

An enormous tent (awning) section, which includes an extension section. It is possible to erect without the extension if there is a lack of space, for a reasonable-sized awning.

There are separate roof liners and curtains for both the extension and the main tent. The roof liner for the main tent includes a wardrobe section with rail and built-in groundsheet. This has never been used as a toilet room, but it could be as an alternative to a wardrobe.

All the poles, in good condition, in bags. These are marked with tape to make erection easier.

There is a kitchen unit on legs which can be positioned as required in the kitchen section of the tent. It includes sink (with foot pumped water supply, and drain into dirty-water container which is included), two-ring burner and grill. A gas bottle is available (extra cost) as is a gas/battery/electric-powered chest fridge (extra cost) which can fit in the kitchen area beside the unit.

There is a large groundsheet which fits the whole awning, including the extension, except for part of the kitchen area.

A very sturdy step, which is useful when erecting the tent, and also for getting into and out of the trailer section when in use.

Also included are pegs and a mallet, the waterproof cover in good condition, the jacking handle (for the four corner supports), the trailer lights and a hitch lock with two keys.

There are also two keys for the fridge box and two for the door of the trailer. In use, the trailer door is taken off and not used - there is a zippered door to the trailer area, and then further zipped doors for the sleeping compartment on each side.

We will probably also include other odd bits like a small washing up bowl, kettle, saucepan, and so on.

All lights and electrics in perfect working order. Tyres good, spare wheel included.

Never been put away wet.
