Description:
Hi all, here we have a Saab Aero (Hot) 93. In very good working order and benefits from the rare B204r, 200bhp engine. 2 door coupe, electric windows, aircon, very good condition beige leather interior. Mot till April, tax till December, few age related dints and scratches but no rust and nothing that couldnt be sorted in a day or two. This car also has the added benefit of being the HOT version and this specific body, spec and engine were only made in 1999 and the engine is the preferred modding engine should you want to go down that route as the internals are a lot stronger, or, just in general, the engine is a strong reliable lump. When i bought her, abs light and brake warning light were on, no speedometer was not working and was stalling every few minutes. Everything pointed to rear abs sensor (speedo runs from this) so replaced that but still had all of problems so only thing left was faulty abs ecu. Bought one of these, swapped it over and now everything works perfectly and no stalling (and spare abs and hub assembly as well!). Mot certificate also said that only just passed emissions due to badly corroded flexipipe so i replaced that as well. Front brake pads were low so i replaced those as well. Did buy some discs as well as i though it pointless to just change pads, have not had time to change discs as well but these will be included. Full logbook and 2 sets of keysTurbo is always allowed to warm up and calm down, also has tow-bar with twin electrics but not been able to check as i don't tow anything! Recent trip from Bristol to Southend and back returned 38mpg according to trip computer and my own calculations so pretty good on fuel as well. Not really sure what i am looking for to be honest, something different but nothing under 1.8 please. Cavalier GSI, Astra GTE, Calibra etc. All you can do is ask me and ill let you know :) However, must have MOT and no rust-boxes please. I am old enough and experienced enough to know a crapbox from a decent runner with potential. These models are getting rare now, especially as the Vauxhall modifiers have discovered they are more reliable than vauxhalls cavalier/calibra turbo lumps and easily tuneable to the modern day Vxr lumps so I know what I have. Camchain as well so no horrible belts to change either.Update, had a cyclist decide to use the passenger door as a brake. caused minor denting that could probably be knocked out but priced up a replacement door for £45 from a local Saab specialist, just have not had the time to get it or fit it due to work commitments.Full logbook in my name and tax will not be included. Vehicle is registered as disability due to my partner but this is easily changed when logbook is sent off.Small update, swap will include 4 spare alloy wheels. Bought them with the intention of cleaning up and spraying. 3 very good tyres, one has a flat spot.
