RWJ Honda CR 500 AF supermoto

This is for my CR 500 supermoto aluminium frame. The CR500 originally came as a tubular steel frame with the single cylinder 500cc 2stroke engine, But back in 1999 RWJ Honda racing made several aluminium frame cr500's for the race season.

This was achieved by hybridising the 500cc engine into the cr250 aluminium frame, which is no easy task as they have had to make custom engine mounts and a aluminium tank to provide clearance for the head. Also it has a twin core aluminium radiator to aid cooling.

The engine has undergone porting work to make the power near 80bhp which is ludicrous for a 2stroke single! The work was carried out by the renowned Steven Clitheroe Tuning (SCT)

The CR is road legal with talon excel supermoto wheels and a talon big disk conversion up front with braking wavey disks front and rear
