Vw t4 transporter tdi conversion 120 bhp dayvan/camper

Location: North Of England - sheffield
Swap Value: £4.000+

Description:

Here I have my Vw transporter t4 1.9 tdi conversion 120 bhp 98,000 miles,
When I got the t4 it was a box standard 800 special 1.9td 68 bhp with a broken turbo. I replaced the turbo and all was well until 70 miles later the top end decided to seize on the m1,only to reveal that the oil pump had also given up. After a good few un-satisfactory quotes for the repair on the engine, and having a read through the t4 forums I decided to totally convert it to a tdi,and off I went.
The engine came from a seat Alhambra and came with a garret ko3 turbo and has only covered 98,000 miles with proof, the loom, ecu and clocks came from a mk3 golf tdi that had covered 155,000 and I still have the logbook and engine as proof too,the van it's self has just over 154,000 miles to its name so the clocks are just about true to the van
As the work was being done all 3 belts were changed and all fluids were flushed and changed too, also changed were all the filters, air diesel, pollen and oil filters,so basically it's just had a full big service and is now running great and pulls like a train with plenty of torque,I've just upgraded the injectors to the Bosch 0.216 injectors that has taken the bhp from 90 bhp to 120 bhp without any tuning at all,the result is fantastic I'm very happy with the upgrade and whoever ends up owning the t4 will love it too.
Having now done the engine conversion I decided to clean up the inside,I first of all replaced the front seats with a pair of Mitsubishi delica captains chairs with armrests and had some matching delica folding seats/bed fitted in the rear that fold away to above the arches to give you the original van space back if needed,I've also replaced the old ply lining with new carpeted ply lining and covered the vw cushion floor with carpet to finish it off,I'm a carpet fitter so it's a good job not just something someone has thrown in.
As the stereo in the van only has 2 little speakers in the dash it didn't sound good at all so I decided to replace it all,and out it came.i replaced the head unit with a top of the range alpine CD player and decided to add a little power to it and added a mac audio multi channel amp, I then replaced the in dash 4" speakers with some 180 watts 4" speakers and boxed in some jbl 240 watts 6x9 in the rear and a pair of audiobahn 12.4 " 3300 wats subs in a carpeted box,the result is outstanding as it sounds amazing.
Now the music is sorted it's time to sort the wheels out as steels just don't do it for me,I managed to find a very nice set of 5 audi s-line 17" alloys with tyres and as you can see they look smart.
It's fitted with a tow bar and single electrics and there's also a half top bulk head and a full size roof rack with full size roller bar that can come with it if the deal is good.
After all this you're probably wondering why I'm getting rid and rightly so,the answer to that is that I really need a long wheel base for towing the family caravan, camping and festival trips as it's just not big enough for us,so regretfully I have to let it go,if you would like any more info please feel free to ask and I will answer as soon as I can, serious interests will be given my number.cheers for looking, jay.
Just had a genuine vw side door window fitted will add some pics tomorrow.
UPDATE!! I have now finished inside the t4 with seat belts now fitted in the rear so it can carry 5 people legally, I've also finished the carpeting, the ceiling and the pillars and bulkhead are all looking great, I'm trying to upload some new pics but there seems to be a problem on here so will update pics as soon as possible, cheers for looking, jay.
