up for swap is my 2003 mk1 mg zr, its had alot of money spent on it, i brought the car bog standard a year ago at 72,000 miles, i had the cambelt, water pump, tensioner, alternator belt and power steering belt changed as soon as i got the car as wasnt sure when it had been done, with reciepts to prove, it has some service history up to around the 50k mark i think but dont hold me to it and then was filled in when i've had work done to it, its always serviced regularly around the 5 - 6k mark and it always had 10 40 castrol magnatec put in it, last service i slick 50 treated the oil, it has 12months tax and its just gone through the MOT, only advisory was headlight adjustment which they done for me then and there. its also had a new cat as the old one was shot.
i've done alot of modifications in the time ive had it, ill list them in no particular order as ive done so much
17" zs straights with 4 kumho ecsta le sport tyres, still with very good tread
Avo lowering springs (30mm drop) goes round bends lovely and sticks to the road nice
dark ice front strut brace
had new lower arms and arb drop links also track rod ends
had a CV joint done
tracking has been done
front fogs fitted
8k Hid conversion headlights
Tinted indicator lenses
Tinted rear lights (not to black so u get pulled all the time but a nice tone so it looks sportier)
Mg Zr Monaco interior (blue) has slight rip/wear in drivers seat bolster but this is a very common issue and it was in better condition than my old seat, never has bothered me and to find a set in very good condition for under 100 quid is near impossible
rover 200 coupe arm rest (very comfortable when driving) and worth a fair bit of doh
blue dash speedo bulbs (pig of a modification to do took me a while)
4"stainless exhaust back box
open cone air filter (could do with a enclosed one as would see a noticeable power gain) (have stock airbox)
it has a fusion 15" sub but im undecided weather to keep this or not yet.
under blue dash lights as the mrs likes them (bloody women)

that about it but ive probably forgotten about things
not sure on the state of the head gasket but i think it was done just before i brought it as there was evidence it had one done, its got a mls on it and its never drank water on me, it does use a slight bit of oil but all k series engines use a little bit, ive changed the antifreeze and flushed the coolant a few times as with most rovers the header tanks shit up with crap.
ive kept practically every receipt of service parts ive purchased for it, if its needed something it gets done as its my daily
bad points (every car has them)
its got slight brake judder which is noticeable but it passed the mot and it does brake fine, it has the solid discs still which are only a few months old but there absolutely pony, i have a set of mg zs 120 calipers and carriers ill throw in with the car all u will need to do is buy the vented 262mm discs and pads but i never bothered with it as there's plenty of meat on the current pads and i dont drive like Schumacher everywhere to need the brakes uprated lol
ive got some skirts for it but they need painting and fitting on (never had the time)
few car park dings and scratches but for a 11 year old car its in good condition , cleans up really nice and i always get told it looks good for its age
may need a battery soon as can tell its starting to crank slower
any questions don't hesitate to ask me,
really dont want to get rid of it as it puts a smile on my face every time i drive it, pulls extremely well for a 1.4. but i want/need a bigger car preferably a diesel as i do alot of motorway miles to go and see my family in kent and im living in north norfolk so its a 300 mile trip there and back so thats how ive done 20k in it in a year with no major problems
im looking for a nice 306 hdi or something similar with a big boot, must be turbo diesel, hatchback/estate try me with whatever uve got as long as its not a shitter, low mileage would be nice but just try me ???
probably forgot loads and i have a folder of paperwork downstairs with receipts/bills etc
