Audi TT

2004

140,000 miles
Description:
Today I have for sale my much loved Audi TT Quattro 225.
The car is painted in the very sought after Avus Grey and all paintwork is mint and original.
The car is the 1.8 turbocharged 225bhp model which has the quattro system, the haldex was serviced at 128,000. The 225 has the twin exhaust system and factory zenon headlamps over standard.
Being a 2004 the car is one of the last of the mk1, it also is a facelift which also has lower suspension and a few other minor changes.
The car has had thousands of pounds worth of factory options added, for example it has the very rare 'Votex' kit consisting of front spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser and rear spoiler. The car also has the BBS RC two piece splits fitted. It also has the silk nappa red leather interior. Making this a very rare and i think the car looks fantastic, it is not your average Audi TT.
The condition of this particular model is immaculate for its age and mileage, the exterior is free of dents, no major marks or blemishes, the interior is again absolutely mint, being very well looked after.
The car has covered 140,000 miles but is fully documented with Audi history and has only had two previous owners, the first only covering 11,000 miles over the first 3 years, then the next owner bought the car using his company car allowance as he did not want a diesel back in 2007, he then kept the car with the full audi history and having over £9000 in servicing parts and labour receipts, the car absolutely does not drive like the mileage, you are welcome to come and experience this. Furthermore to the vast amount of servicing the car has had it got a clutch and flywheel replacement at 120,000, later on that year the previous owner has a comprehensive cambelt change including all tensioners at 128,000, at the same time the haldex was serviced. The turbo was rebuilt at a cost of £480 when the car hit 130,000. So to sum up although the car has a high mileage it has had nearly every part serviced or renewed and any common problems with the car has been replaced or uprated by experienced reputable audi dealers at a very high cost, for instance in july 2012 the rear shock absorbers were noted to have slight moisture showing and the springs paint has started to flake a little so they were replaced at £440 per shock absorber and £331 per spring and adding labour was a £1700 bill.
Since i have had the car it has only asked for a turbo gasket which is a very common problem and causes a slight 'ticking' exhaust blow coming from the manifold, I have kept the car to a very high standard whilst owning it.
It will be very gutting to see the car go but I have the opportunity to save for a move abroad in a few years time, I'm also going to be travelling further to work for just now, so would rather a small economical diesel or similiar as a swap, cash either way.
In my work i deal alot with driving newer cars of this calibre and driving this is an absolute pleasure and still compares to the like of the cars that are in my work which are only few years old and £20,000 upwards.
The car has MOT until April 2015 and tax until October.
I have probably missed a few things so if you have any questions do not hesitate to ask.
I have priced the car very fairly with the level of spec on this car
I am looking for £4495ono
