Honda XBR500 classic single

Reluctantly parting with my 1986 XBR500G as it's simply not getting the use it deserves (it's only
covered 476 miles since the last MOT until this one!). It's a nice unmolested example with a
proper twin pipe setup.

It has a new 12 month MOT, the only advisory being that the front tyre is near the limit so
I'd be looking to replace this soon. It's also taxed until the end of September so is ready to
ride away.

The previous owner carried out a partial restoration which included regrinding and hard
rechrome of the front forks followed by a rebuild with new seals. Rechroming of the front
exhaust downpipes, new rear shock absorbers,powder coating of the side and centre stand and
swinging arm (the rest of the frame didn't warrant any attention).

I have receipts for the work done which also includes new brakes and cush drive rubbers.

Cosmetically the bike is in excellent condition but being almost 28 years old does have some
signs of age. Examine the photos and video and make your own mind up. The engine starts easily
on the electric or kick start and runs sweetly. Total mileage is currently 19,100 and this
isn't likely to change much as it's not being actively used. I've owned it since October last year and have the full V5 in my name.
