You don't see many of these around and a look through the classifieds will show you that they are becoming rare, prices hold steady as a result and being the last of its generation is guaranteed to be a cult classic. These cars were "replaced" by the 1 series in late 2004, I use the term replaced loosley as the 1 series was a whole new model and range, the result of this is that the E46 Compact will never age as they do not have a genuine updated model. I have owned this car for only 3 weeks as I took it in part exchange for my Mercedes C180 Coupe, I have always wanted a Compact and jumped at the chance to own one with low mileage and a high specification and only 2 previous owners! The inside is tidy, and has a full set of original carpets which are not shown it the pictures. The engine drives superb, pulls really well and has a lot of poke in all gears when needed. The body has a few age related marks, most notably the front BMW badge which is a little scuffed but can be replaced quite cheaply. A few stone chips are also visible but this is to be expected for car nearly 10 years old. The car is now surplus to requirements as I am getting a shiny new company car and it would be a crime to have this car sit on the drive when it could be cruising around Britain in the lovely sunshine! I am open to offers but only after you have viewed it, it is worth well over £3000 on the forecourt, and £2995 privately, so £2595 is a steal when you consider it has just had £655+ spent on it in the last 8 weeks and doesn't need a service for another 10,000 miles!
