Description:

Ford fiesta mk1 1.1 Ghia in fantastic condition. I've had this little gem for a year now and ive put a lot of time and money into it to get it in this condition. I professionally restored and painted it last August to a very high standard. I've been a fully qualified spray painter for over 12 years so its been done properly, not on a driveway or in a shed. It was a very good car before I started, the only new panels needed were a lower front valance and bonnet due to rust and a drivers door due to damage. The rest of the car was original and rust free!

It drives great with no knocks or rattles and its surprisingly nippy :-) The only modifications its had are a new set of lowering springs (40mm) and 14inch orion ghia wheels which makes it drive so much better. I do still have the original fiesta ghia alloys.

Its only MOT'd until April 18th but its only covered about 1500 miles since its last MOT. It had no advisory's then so it will pass with flying colours. No tax, currently SORN.

I had big plans to put in a 1.7 puma engine and keep it for a long time but about 3 weeks after I finished restoring it, some low life scumbag broke into it and tried to steal it from my previous address. Thankfully the idiot didn't succeed and I have since moved to a new home with a garage, but he did damage the drivers door, snap the ignition barrel, brake the steering lock and wheel and brake the plastic trim around the steering column. I have since fully repaired all of this and fitted new parts but I fell out of love with it which is why I've decided to sell it.

New parts in the last year:

Water pump, dizzy cap, rotor arm, plugs, leads, o/s headlight, chrome bumpers, rear fog lamp, lowering springs, fully refurbished wheels with nearly new 175/50/14 tyres, chrome mirrors, chrome screen rubber trim and probably more I cant recall.

Bad points:

No longer has 1 key for all as new ignition barrel has different key to doors.

Rev counter has a mind of its own.

No radio.

Overall this little classic is in excellent condition inside and out. The interior is in excellent original condition and everything works as it should including the sunroof and opening front quarter windows. It really needs to be seen as the photos don't do it justice, wouldn't look out of place in any classic car show!
