Mk1 VW caddy r1 bike carbs

Hi and welcome to my much loved mk1 VW caddy, this has been my pride and joy for the last 3 years and as you can see a lot of time and money has been spent on it. Unfortunately I can no longer justify keeping her for the little use it gets now so it's time to pass her on to another loving owner.

The body was painted before I got it and it has red flake which really looks good in the sunlight, I have smoothed and wire tucked the engine bay and is painted in Cadbury purple which is an awesome colour. The engine is a mk1 golf gti 16v on r1 bike carbs with custom alloy manifold and r1 fuel pump which runs and goes well with just basic tuning would recommend getting set up professionally just never got round to doing it.

It has an Ashley 4 branch manifold to a fully stainless steel powerflow side exit system. I have had a custom brake fluid reservoir made up and radiator and fan mount. Braided fuel and brake lines the front brakes are from a mk1 golf gti, there are loads of powder coated parts and all new front suspension arms and power flex bushes. The front is on coilovers and the rear has had axle flip and 2" lowering blocks can be raised or lowered how ever you want it.
The overall truck is very solid with only having the near side sill replaced early this year, and with two patches in the buck, there are a few marks and dents on the truck which I have done my best to show in pictures, if you are interested I would highly recommend to come view it.

The interior has been fitted with a carpet and fat mat sound deadening underneath. It's fitted with Recaro seats. It has crystal clear headlights and front indicators hidden behind grill. It has a manual switch on dash for fuel pump and cooling fan, could be wired in for normal operation but I preferred to have a switch also as security function. The wheels are 15" on stretched 165 Bridgestone tyres like brand new only covered a few miles.

The bad points are that it currently has no mot but I can get that done before sale as I am confident it will pass, also has no tax. The few marks on body work, it doesn't have a passenger seat belt either but can get that for around £50. There is also no antenna so radio does not work and speakers could do with being replaced as they are the originals and sound quality isn't great.
