It borrows many design cues from the sought-after whimsical children’s houses that Kids Crooked House is famous for, but the angles, structure, layout and materials have been specifically adapted for use as an animal shelter.
Custom built to the highest standards by a UK-based team of skilled craftsmen, only top quality materials are used in the construction. Waterproof and hardwearing, the main frame is built from durable hardwoods mounted upon a high-grade decking platform, while the roof is made from cedar shingles secured onto a cedar ridge. Every kennel has a porch for shade and clear perspex windows to keep out the rain.
The grande (90cm x 104cm x120cm), retailing at £1,499, has dimensions scaled up for giant breeds,  Leon Bergers and St Bernard's.   Attention is paid to the smallest detail. The timbers are planed all round to banish any rough edges and the weather-proof exterior paints, of which there are 10 cheerful colours to choose from, are safe for pets. Bespoke made kennels and extensions are also available to tailor to individual preference.
