Overall this bike is in very tidy, clean and original condition, with the exeption of the aftermarket exhaust (which is for the better anyway!) A very nice example of an unmessed with cbr600f with no crash damage!
It has been fitted with a full stainless scorpion exhaust system, which sounds great and a huge improvement in looks and performance compared to the original black "sewage pipe" system. Other than that, the bike is in completely original condition. No chopping of the rear undertray to make a tail tidy, no silly little indicators, no "monster energy" stickers all over the place. Even has the original screen fitted too. The only thing missing off the bike is some bar ends unfortunately. (the photos show no centre stand, but there is one, I just have it removed for repainting and this will be fitted at time of sale)
The bike does have its bad points, as all bikes do:
1. Areas of the frame have been touched up in silver paint. Being a steel frame, the areas aound welds are prone to rust spots. The rust has been removed, area treated and then painted.
2. The is also the odd mark here and there being the age it is and the mileage it has covered.
3. There are three visible cracks in the body work - crack in the seat side panel next to the petrol tap. This is where the lug slots into a rubber grommet behind. There's a crack just under the left indicator, which you dont notice until you are looking for it. There is also another split on the inner fairing piece which has been plastic welded and covered with black tape. Again, not noticeable until looking for it.
This bike has had the following done/fitted at the 44200 mile mark:
New heavy duty chain (sprockets were still in very good condition)
New Reg plate
New fork oil and dust seals with fresh fork oil.
New brake fluid all round
Brake calipers were stripped down and cleaned.
New Rear wheel bearings
Complete service - plugs, oil, oil filter and airfilter. I also checked the valve clearances and these were still within the required tolerances.
Fresh coolant and system bled.
New set of medium compound renthal grips - best grips I have ever used!
The carbs were also stripped down and cleaned as the tick over was fluctuating a little bit when i bought the bike, this has now been sorted and runs/ticks over great! (it was just due to partially blocked pilot jets with old fuel) the fuel tank and fuel pump has also been flusdhed through to get rid of any old, bad fuel.
The tyres and font/rear brake pads have plenty of life left in them too.
I have been as honest about the bike as I can and to the best of my knowledge.
