Description:
Here we have my pride and joy which I have owned since February 2012.
It is a 1999 Facelift EK Honda civic coupe 1.6vti on 126,000miles.
It has mot until February 2015 and tax until July 2014.
Car has had a full service in August ’14 using Gulf Ester synthetic 10/40 and HAMP Shortie filter.
As it is the vti it has the usual refinements of being fully colour coded, front and rear anti roll bars, air con (now removed), electric height adjustable headlights, electric/heated mirrors, electric windows, electric sunroof, power steering (now removed, ek9 quick rack fitted). It comes with 2x normal keys and 1x red key which is still boxed. Has a Honda alarm system with 2x fobs.
The car has been lowered on D2 coilovers, D2 lower control arms, 16" Cades Eros alloys which have purple centres and satin silver lips, 4 tyres have good tread Michelin Pilot Sport 3 (£120 per tyre), 4-1 stainless steel manifold with bash plate, stainless de-cat through to a stainless centre section to a spoon n1 style back box, genuine ek9 headlights, genuine ek9 grill, front inner wing fender braces, 3 point front strut brace, 4 point rear floor xbrace, harness bar, 2x replica takata harnesses, front fog lights, chargespeed front lip, US spec rear plate recess, EK9 steering wheel, prefacelift EK4 dials, Integra dc2 black Recaros with spoon lowered drivers rail and Integra passenger rail, Innovative 75a engine mounts, Carbon fibre whales penis induction kit, EBC Yellow stuff pads on the front and EBC turbo grooved discs, short shifter, bride anniversary gear gaiter, Spoon duracon gear knob, Alpine x305s iphone player, genuine honda sun glasses holders, ek9 sun visors, ek9 oil cap, purple cam, neo coloured Muteki SR35 Lug Nuts, jazz washer jets, team heko wind deflectors, bonnet bra (not fitted) and import plates 13x7 front/rear, password jdm purple vtec solenoid cover, cam end seal, radiator stay and aftermarket engine oil temperature gauge, oil pressure gauge and water temperature gauge. There is no rear interior and the sound deadening has been removed. I had been building this car to take on track but never got round to doing so. The rear underside of the car has been undersealed using waxoyl.
Just fitted a new drivers side drive shaft, passenger side shaft was replaced within the last year. 2x new front drop links fitted. 2x front upper arms have been replaced. Just fitted energy suspension bushes to the front lower and upper arms along with the front suspension bushes and shifter bushes. Front to rear brake pipes also changed within the last year. Also just had an ACT 6 puk un-sprung clutch, ACT heavy duty pressure plate and an ACT lightened flywheel.
The car was rolling roaded at Performance HQ, Fife earlier this year and made 136bhp at the wheels which works out to be about 186bhp at the flywheel. I have the printout to prove this.
There is no rust on the back arches at all!
The not so good bits now, every car has them...
Every Honda burns oil, this one only burns about 1 litre of oil every 8,000miles which is pretty good in my eyes.
The car had a slight bump earlier in the year with the shocking weather we had, the front wing and door were damaged and have been replaced but the colour match is not perfect. There is also a slight dent along the back quarter which runs parallel to the top of the back bumper.
