Peugeot 206 2l HDi Eco

Description:

2001 206 2l HDi Eco. This is the rare one the 2l HDi bulletproof engine with the £30 tax bracket.
Has tax & test until August.

Does have an intermittent starting problem. Has just had a new high pressure diesel Pump, which has improved things, but still isn't right. Sometimes it will turn over & fire straight away other times it just turns over & over until sometimes It will fire. However it will bump start everytime first time so could be a simple fix. Once the engine is started it runs sweet as a nut. Pulls well in every gear, very quiet engine. Which is such a shame, apart from the starting fault it's a cracking little car. It will run for hours faultlessly never misses a beat. Brilliant on fuel as well.

Looking to sell for cash ideally, or will consider a swap for a 206 1.4 HDi as I could do with something with a smaller engine to insure the Mrs on when she starts to learn to drive in the next few months.
