UPDATED 12/05/2014:

I have just spent out over £1200 on putting this lovely discovery right.
Turns out that the previous owner who sold it to me had ripped me off even though he knew I was disabled. The nerve of some people.

Below is a list of parts replaced and works carried out. I have all receipts and invoices for the works done and all performed by a very reputable local Land Rover specialist.

Parts replaced.

Track rods
Drag link assembly
Brake pads all round
Wiper blades
Bulbs and lamps
Anti roll bar linkages
Shock absorbers and bushes
Anti roll bushes
Front Propshaft
Both front hub assembly and sensors
Welding to rear underside
New slave cylinder and system bled.

Even though I was ripped off it doesn't mean that I will just sell the car on as it was because I have a conscience. Therefore I have spared no expense in making this Discovery right and as it should be. Great for on or off roading.

I will also put it through a new MOT for the new owner as I have no worries about it passing with all the money I've just spent lol.




203000 miles but please don't let this put you off. I'm quite sure that in the past this Discovery has had an engine replacement as it pulls like a train and is extremely reliable. I have written to Land Rover and I'm currently waiting for a reply as to the possible engine work carried out in the past. I Will update ASAP.

MOT June 2014 Tax currently Disabled registered by me.
Uses next to no oil or water.
No overheating problems.

As i have mentioned above I am disabled and I'm finding it increasingly difficult to get in and out of and with it being manual it will cause me issues in the future. However I am open to other cars being manual or auto.

I have spent a fair amount recently in making this Discovery reliable enough for me to drive. Its hard enough breaking down at anytime but when your disabled its a nightmare, so rest assured its a good Discovery.

I am in no rush to SWAP the Discovery so will wait for the right deal. I live in a very rural area in Suffolk so I would please ask you not to waste my time. Only genuine interested parties need inquire.
