KAWASAKI KX 250 1991 EVO CLASS

Description:

Bought the bike 2 years ago as a restoration project. Since then, I have stripped the bike head to toe replacing necessary parts and sparing no time or money. With the bike being over 20 years old and in the Evo class, these bikes are rare and sought after especially with the growing number of historic races. After rebuilding the bike I decided personally that I did not want to take it off road because of the amount of work and it would have been a shame to scratch it. The engine has had very little use just to start and run it in after the rebuild.

I have over £600 worth of reciepts for parts alone (can send pictures and all reciepts I have willbe handed over with the bike when sold).



Bike has had a recent full engine rebuild:

NEW:

- conrod

crank (has been rebalanced)

- seals and bearings (crank casing)

- piston and piston rings (make: prox)

genuine Kawasaki head gasket (all other gaskets replaced with Mikata Gaskets)

- Woodruff key replaced on fly wheel side

- racing reeds (make: hy-tech)

- air filter



The bike has also had new:

- clutch

- radiators (60% bigger than original radiators)

- air filter (make: twin air)

- chain and rear sprocket (make: FK)

- front sprocket (make: renthal)

- front discs(make: EBC)

- pads (make: gold fren)

- gear lever

- kick start (genuine kawasaki, cost £100 alone)

- fork seals (make: all ballz)



The bike has also been professionally painted in Kawasaki Green and comes with Mitchelin competition tyres and Renthal handlebars. The tyres are used and but are still useable (see pics). Size: Front-21" Rear-19".

All bolts havebeen replaced.



All engine and frame numbers are in tact.
