2004 MG ZR Turbo Diesel 150bhp MOT TAX
Location: Scotland - falkirk
Swap Value: £1.000+
Model:
MG ZR
Year:
2004
Mileage:
99,000 miles
Description:
For sale is my MG ZR Turbo Diesel
It has been dyno'd at 144.9 bhp with 250ft.lbs of torque with printout but that was before I could get the fuel timing sorted so is now sitting a bit higher
Car has 98000 miles on it however there was a speedo change because when I was fitting the LEDs behind the old one I broke the needles rendering it useless. So the cluster reads 150000 miles however the bonus of new MOTs shows the previous milages and I can also show you the old cluster with old receipts etc.
It has a full years MOT and 6 months TAX to go with it.
Just did the Aux belt and timing belt along with the fuel timing belt
Been fully serviced whilst I was doing the belts.
New cam cover gasket
New washers for all injectors with new return hoses
New passenger side CV joint
Sdi injectors
Boost up to 21psi
Decat
Digimafam (MAF Sensor compensator, common problem)
Janspeed oval tip backbox
EGR Blank
Boost Gauge
Cone Filter with cold air feed
HID 6K Headlights with led sidelights
MG TF Interior mirror with lights in it
Blue led cluster display
New clutch just before I bought the car.
This car has been my pride and joy for the last 8 months and has some pull on it through out the gears. This car will surprise you!
Anything that has needed replaced over the time ive had it has been replaced including new front discs and pads along with 4 recent brand new tyres (2 fronts are Nankang Sports)
The bodywork on the car is really good except for a couple rust spots and bubbles around the car but when this car is polished and in the sun they are fairly un-noticeable.
Interior is almost immaculate and the only thing that stops it is the drivers seat having a bit of wear on the bolster but no rips or tares!
There is 1 thing letting this car down and that is it needs a new gear linkage. STILL WORKS AND THE CAR IS STILL DRIVEABLE AS I USE IT EVERY DAY! It has rattled a bit since I bought it and has gotten louder however I have had a look underneath and theres no fear of it snapping or stopping working. All it needs a new bush in the join or maybe a whole new unit. I believe they are around £30 for a whole new section and a fairly easy fix.
I am in no rush to sell this car. It has given me no real problems in the time I have had it.
The price is £1500 and I believe that is a fair price for what you would be buying. I have listed all the problems with this car but the good definitely outweighs the bad! Possible SWAP if you have a car I may be interested in. Dont be offended if I turn you down, I am very picky with what cars I buy.
With the power this car has and the MPG that you get from this car begs the question, Why look at anything else? I have had my fun with this car and I wish to pass it on so someone else can have a fun, reliable car.
Call, text or email, My phone is attatched to me like an extra limb so I will get back to you ASAP.
Thanks for reading.
