FORD SIERRA XR4I 2.8 V6 COSSIE 500 SHAPE REAR WHEEL DRIVE

Here we have my sierra XR4I in white. she is mot'd till sept 14 and taxed till feb although needs a couple of bits done to make her fully road worthy.

good bits
engine is sweet no knocks taps nothing
hundreds of paperwork incuding service record stamped to 90k, santa pod winner time card, pictures of previous work and loads of receipts. first off i suspect the car has been chipped but im not a mechanic. Car has quickshift and a brand new borg & beck clutch with less than 1 mile on it. custom race exhaust which sounds and looks amazing. New arches, cossie axle lsd and disk brakes, colour coded, bi plane spoiler, good wheels and 4 nearly new tyres. new fuel tank, plugs, koni coilovers, electric fan with switch. One of the electric windows isnt working but i have another motor here which i will give away with car and spare door cards. rear sturt brace will have missed out loads but thats what i can think of off hand

bad bits
speedo aint working ( new cable sold with car) interior aint the best could do with a new one or a good clean, no roof cloth due to small hole in sunroof common for sierras. back lights need earthed correctly easy fix only requires a bit time no money. if your a perfectionist you may want to respray her but with a bit of tlc would still look stunning without.

Car is a stunning solid car and the only reason shes going is because i have another one (see in the pic) which i bought. Cossie shells are going for 4k plus and all you need to do is cut back window on xr4i to make it a cosworth shell becaus its a pre cosworth design. overall it needs little to restore its glory and you could have a very good looking retro sierra xr4i that turns heads everywhere with just a few hours work and not spending a penny. its 30 years old but looks better than most things on the road today
