About a mile away is the delightful village of Cuidad Quesada, with more banks, restaurants, bars, shops, supermarkets, furnature and appliance shops and is a lovely place to hang out with friends. The stunning beaches of Guadamar, La Mata and La Marina are a ten minute drive away. The area has some fabulous mountains and lakes to walk as well as the lively ‘Golden Mile’ resort complex just South of Torrevieja where the fabulous new La Zenia Boulevard shopping complex has just opened. There are a dozen golf courses within a 20 minute drive as well. There really is something for everyone here. Alicante and Murcia airport are both about a half hour drive away.
The house itself comes fully furnished and key ready. There is even cutlery in the draws of the fully equipped kitchen and a 50" TV. Just turn up and start living. It has a brand new energy usage certificate, now a requirement in Spain. All the doors and double glazed windows are protected by Blinds, Iron Security railings and security locks. The lounge and Main Bedroom are Air conditioned with modern, economical units. It has a large water heater to allow both showers to be used at the same time. Every room has a ceiling fan and lamp. The lounge has 2 large ceiling fans.
Entering through the double gates, the driveway has a car port. I used it for my Motorbike so is laterally arranged but can be turned round if required. From the driveway you ascend 7 steps onto the outside patio area, which has an extendable sun / rain awning. This is a lovely place to eat and pass the evenings. Some enclose this area in glass to make a further downstairs room. From there you enter the large lounge / dining area (21ft x 16ft). To the left is the downstairs bathroom with shower and in front is the fully equipped separate kitchen. Ascending the marble staircase to the second floor you find the 3 double bedrooms and second bathroom. The larger of the bedrooms has a small balcony accessed through a secure door. Again, some enclose this to create a walk-in dressing room. Ascending to the third floor you access a glorious Solarium with superb views over the salt lakes and surrounding area. Part of this too has been made into further bedrooms by some residents.
The house is fully legal and is wholly owned by me. All paperwork is present and correct. There is no mortgage on it and no outstanding bills. It has a brand new and now mandatory energy efficiency certificate. The reason I am selling is because I am upgrading to a more expensive villa about 5 miles away, don’t want to rent this one out and do want to maintain a healthy capital reserve . Life is simply wonderful here and Dona Pepa is a quiet and peaceful urbanisation, beautifully manicured with parks and palm trees.
