Honda CRX ED9 1988 Modified Rare Non-vtec 130bhp

Description:

Up for swaps is my MK2 CRX.

Will have 6 months tax at the end of the month and is MOT'd till April 2014.

Modifications:
- Full respray in BMW Daytona Violet Metallic
- 15x8 Schmidt Modernlines with Toyo Proxes T1R's
- Spax 50mm gas shocks and springs with JDM rear LCA's
- F1 Racing 3.9kg Billet Flywheel
- Full Powerflow Exhaust System
- Japspeed Manifold
- Shortshift with ITR DC2 gearknob
- Mountney Steering Wheel
- Air Fuel Ration and Voltage gauges mounted on the A pillar
- JDM rear lights and amber corners
- HID's
- Team Heko Wind Deflectors

The car has had alot of work done in the past 6 months, any rust and rot on the underneath has been cut out and replaced, which was quite alot tbh, but the underside of the car is now likecnew. Has had oil, filter and plugs changed, new discs and pads all round, new braided flexis are on order, new steering rack with 2 new track rod ends, new bottom ball joint and upper arm on the front O/S.
This car has been maintained regardless of cost.

The bodywork is near mint condition, the owner before me had the car 10 years and many of the panels have been replaced with genuine honda panels, and the aerial hole was smoothed over before spraying. There is a small dent jn the passenger door just below the window but you'll only see it if you look for it, and a tiny bubble on the corner of the bonnet which hasn't come through the paint and some small bits of bubbling under the filler cap.

The clutch has been done less than 10000 miles ago when the flywheels was put in, it is a bit juddery on pull away but doesn't slip and never caused me any problems.

Don't let the mileage put you off, the engine pulls hard and doesn't smoke, and I ran a 15.6 up santa pod beating a B16 EG civic.
It was Compression tested 6 months ago and has only lost 5-7 psi from standard.

This car has been my pride and joy and will be sad to see it go, but I just feel like a change, the car is still on the road and driven daily.
