Copper and brass. Reasonable original condition.
Made in France 1850.
Another item was also found with these binoculars but I am unable to list it individually due to the sharp blade.
complete with sheath this was fitted to the first chassepot bolt actions and was made between 1866 &1871 by w.r. Kirschbaum
