Fiat 2.5TD Engine & gearbox

2001 HDI turbo diesel engine and gearbox complete with all anchillaries so ready to fit straight in, it has 90k on the clock in the original van, which i heard it start and rev up and drove it around the breakers yard, there is no knocks bangs or unsightly sounds, the engine runs perfect no smoke or rattles anything

I bought this engine from a reputable dealer off ebay and was extremely expensive, although i did not realise this was a HDI engine so i cannot use it as i had plans to upgrade my motorhome engine to Turbo Diesel (better for Hills) so now this is up for swap or sale

the engine has had a full service and recon cams put in prior to me buying it, it also had a recon on the gearbox and service you will not get much better than this engine anywhere.

The engine on ebay alone are fetching anywhere between £700 & £1000 with no anchillaries fitted, the gearbox on ebay go anywhere £500 to £800 with no starter or clutch setup etc

if you work everything out this engine and gearbox will cost you around £1500 with all anchillaries and ready to fit just like mine

no silly offers like £300 cause you just not going to even get the gearbox for that

Idel upgrade to your stright diesel or even the 1.9TD 2.5D 2.8D engines, the td is as good on fuel if driven correctly as a 1.9td in fact in some cases better

i am open to offers but do some research these engine are verh expensive the HDI pumps alone make £200, the turbo will also make £200, the head makes £350, the gearbox will make £500 and the bare block no anchillaries will make £300, then you have all the rest of it alternator starter PAS pump etc.. i will break it if i dont get any offers
