I Brought this drive for my 40gb cechgo3 ps3 around 5 months ago for £75 when my old drive wouldnt read discs anymore and this fixed the problem but unfortunately my ps3 got the dreaded YLOD a few wks ago so i am selling the drive seperately. I purchased the drive refurbished so it has a new laser and works perfectly fine. Only thing to note is a tiny ding to the metal casing on the bottom of the drive which is the way it was when i brought it and is just cosmetic and does not effect the performance of the drive in any way. So if your having trouble with your drive reading discs this could be the answer to your problems as it was for me, just clip it in and away you go, easy as that.
