This router is discribed as seller refurblished but it was only tested and never used. It is a wired ADSL router with 4 ports 10/100Mbps switch. It comes boxed with everything that's originally in the box and will support up to 253 users. It supports OS: Windows XP X64 , Windows Vista64 , Windows 7 x6.

If you have an ADSL line and more than one PC, the most efficient way to share your connection between machines is with an ADSL router that doubles as a hub.

This single device allows you to link all your PCs up to each other, so you can swap files between them. It also allows you to share your Internet connection. The trouble with most ADSL routers we've seen has been price - they usually cost upwards of a hundred quid. Not so the Edimax AR-6004, which will set you back a modest £65.

Setting up the AR-6004A as a hub is easy: your PCs will be networked and sharing files in no time. Getting the router function to work, though, is a little trickier. The single page of instructions is rather cryptic, particularly for a novice. You'll also need lots of data from your ISP before you can get things working. Once things are working, though, the AR-6004A runs at a decent connection speed. On our 512Kbit/s link, it ran at 460 Kbit/s, slightly faster than our normal modem.

At this price the AR-6004A is a nice little find for anyone who wants to share their ADSL connection neatly and conveniently between computers.
