renault 5 gt turbo

up for sale is my renault 5 gt i have not owned it for long only a few months. i bought it with a few things needing done to get it road worty again inc a few bits of welding a new carb and the usall bodge jobs removing and sorting all the niggly bits like the choke not working ect. the work has been done by somebody who knows the c1j set up like the back of his hand and no bodge jobs at all.

this is a phase 1.5 version which is mostly phase 2 apart from the timing unit which is phase 1


body work wise it is i great nick apart from slight damage to the nearside rear quarter and the bottom of the door (see pictures). bonnet has a couple of marks and little dents nothing bad.

engine is a completley standard un molested example running aprox 13 psi runs and boost's great with no smoke at all always had great oil pressure with no leaks and never overheats (thermostat removed).


interier is in great nick no stains on the carpets a little hole where the clutch hits the carpet thats the worst bit. seats have no rips or tears just a saggy bolster. (needs a gear gaiter leather) gt tuning quick shift gear lever.

it used to be pearl white but has been sprayed red at some point very good on the sides of the car roof and boot bcould do with a t cut to bring them back. interier panels and engine bay have been painted aswell inc door shuts ect not just a blow over of the outside.

i dont want to seel but due to the fact i have another car and starting my own business i have no choice. i have owned a few of these before and this is near the top for quality and drive.

milage is on 105 and will change as it is used as my daily driver.
