TRADER BEWARE not quite as honest as he says...agreed on swap knowing we would need a new exhaust, 1 tyre and an anti-roll bar link. getting home we realised there was no cd auto changer as advertised, no locking wheel nut keys (for several different locking wheelnuts) long list of SERIOUS advisory notice found on line after original was kept from us, windscreen wiper motor seizing, serious rust to chassis rails (on original advisory), and air-con unit needed re-gassing.
also on pulling into station for petrol 4 miles from his home, the garage attendant came running out to us after recognising the car as owing him money.....uummphh... the car is running perfect now but has a huge amount of money spent to get it to this. we were genuine foster carers searching for a bigger car to help us do our job,,,he knew this and took advantage. hope you like the mondeo keith....and thanks!
User reply: It was a used car.and you was aware of the exhaust as we was looking IN MY HOME,for new ones pricing them up.if you didnt want to swap all u had to do was say.some of the things you mention even i didnt know about.and yes my local garage i did ow £10 which he has had back as i ran out and he let me have it but i paid him a week late.the mondeo i had let go cheap as that was not as described but it was a used car.do u see me moanin.Oh did u get ur cd back that i posted??that was left in ur car.if these problems were that bad u should have requested to swap back as i would have gladly done but u failed to contact me unitll now.serveral weeks later.i had not had the car long to know a lot about,i told you everything i know.if you want a new car go to FORD. |
