I'm a 32 year old northern monkey. Ex professional LHW martial artist, accrued too many injuries to carry on so i'm now getting back into mountain biking & motorbikes.

Been on Swapz for a few years now. Been dealt some absolute mingers as well, out of 10 cars i've swapped i've been given about 8 crap ones in return. Bearing that in mind, i'm probably the most skeptical swapper out there.

I'm still 100% honest. If there is something, anything wrong with what i have to swap then i say so. There's no point lying & hurting good people in the process. I can spot a bullshitter a mile away & now - after so much experience - know what to look for in a car, or even an advert, to know when not to take something on.

So if you have a car that has any niggles, please just own up to it because half the time somebody will take it off your hands anyway. If they like it enough & have the cash / spare time to fix it up thy'll appreaciate the honesty. If you don't own up to it, more than likely a potential swapper will see through it and you won't be able to get rid of your stuff. That's my £0.02's worth anyway. However, if, like the arse who gave me a VW Scirocco that had more rust on it than steel, you're getting away with it. Then congratulations, you're a c**t
