here we have my ktm 950 sm lc8 engine it is from a 2006 06 plate bike with engine number’s it was going tobe put into a off road buggy but never happened the engine has sat in a shed but the damp has got to the valve’s I have had a fully qualified motorbike mechanic have a look at the engine and I've been told the valve’s need replacing which will cost about £200 for the valve’s and gasket kit he told me the engine is not seized but is a little stiff to turn it’s not going in a off road buggy now so I have no use for it and it’s not worth me spending £200 on it when I ant going to use it this was a really good engine till it got left in a damp shed but with a few quid spent on it would be a great engine again ideal for a spare track bike engine or replacement if yours has gone wrong.
