Model: Honda Civic     Year: 1994     Mileage: n/a

Description:

This car was built by a highly successful tuning company in Japan called Top Fuel for 0-400m. It puts out 540hp on high boost and I have the dyno sheet to prove it. Bare in mind that since that was recorded a few extra mods have been done. Originally I think it also ran meth and was putting out 7-800hp with this engine! The car itself is a JDM EG6 SiR-S hardtop (very very rare and rust free!).

Engine (Fully forged JDM B18C)

Custom Top Fuel forged pistons.
Forged rods.
Uprated bottom end bearings.
Lightened flywheel.
Ported head.
Darton-sleeved block.
Spoon throttle body.
B16B inlet cam and HKS cam gears?
Apexi RX6 turbo with matching Apexi manifold (a very rare kit!).
Large Greddy mushroom filter.
Blitz wastegate with screamer pipe (exiting underneath).
Massive custom intercooler.
Apexi Power FC engine management - Current 8,800rpm limiter but it's safe to 9,500rpm+. ECU controller included which can display all sensor readings.
Oil catch tank/modified breather setup.
Large oil cooler with in-line thermostat.
Custom Apexi fuel pump and accumulator setup in the boot. The pump is quite loud but I quieten it with a couple blankets!
Apexi baffled fuel tank.
Greddy adjustable blow off valve (flutters and dumps).
Greddy cool iridium plugs.
Blitz 700cc injectors.
2-stage MAP sensor setup (standard MAP sensor for vacuum and a Denso 3-bar for boost).
OS twin-plate clutch (very expensive!) - like a switch characteristic but driveable daily for a decent driver.
Top Fuel 3.5 inch exhaust - Retains a small Apexi sport catalyzer and has a large 4.5 inch back-box. It passes the emissions test!
HKS EVC - A very intelligent boost controller with various additional features such as boost scramble. It currently has 2 settings - 1.2 and 1.4bar.
Innovative solid engine mounts.
Uprated Tegiwa sliding joint and bearings on the inner CV joints.
Aluminium radiator.

Chassis

Coilovers.
Poly-bushed Skunk2 neo-chrome rear lower control arms.
SiR front strut brace.
Braided brake hoses.
Adjustable rear camber arms.
20mm bolt-on front wheel spacers for grip.
282mm Integra front brake conversion.

Gearbox

Top Fuel transmission with a 200~mph final drive and possibly straight cut diff gear with uprated bearings. The previous owner apparently had 197 out of it but I don't fancy it myself! It's certainly quicker than anything I've been in or had and I've had some pretty stupid stuff, everyone says the same. I haven't found anything faster yet and have a video of it pulling from an R1 at 180mph+! Once this thing grips almost nothing will stay with it. I think the linkage could do with adjusting because it's occasionally popping out of 5th gear when turning left over bumps now - weird.

Inside

It retains its power steering, electric windows and folding mirrors. The air-con has however been deleted completely. It has black JDM DC2 seats (highly sought-after and valuable - minor damage to O/S driver's bolster), red harnesses and a full bolt-in roll cage with reinforced mounting points. 5x Dephi gauges with controller to record peak and set warning levels. Gauges for boost, manifold vacuum, oil pressure, oil temperature and water temperature.
Billion radiator fan adjuster with 3 speeds and separate override switch.
Blitz turbo timer.
Speedo converted to MPH.
OMP dished suede steering wheel on Momo boss.
Head unit and front speakers fitted (USB and AUX inputs).

Wind deflectors.
Fiberglass oil cooler duct.
Wider fiberglass front arches to house drag slicks if necessary!

Bad Bits

Quite bad lacquer peel to the N/S.
Exhaust manifold has previously cracked and been roughly welded. It doesn't look the best but it's leak-free.

This car has over £25,000 worth of engine modifications. It's a 10-second 1/4 mile car with the right tyres! No test drives and no 18 year olds upgrading from Clios!

It was imported in 2008 and sold for £19,000~. I have all the import docs, dyno graphs, a few old tax discs and all the receipts (albeit in japenese!) and a significant amount of spares. I've been driving it daily for almost 6 months now and its been faultless.

With the paint sorted and everything shiny I'd value it just under 8k but I'm aware that would cost a few hundred.

This is basically a full-on race car for the road. With minor tweeks this thing will dominate time attack. If I end up keeping it I will enter it next year.

MOT - 30/12
Cambelt changed 18/10/14 and last serviced 6/11/14 (all fluids).
