Mk2 Golf 20VT 1.8 Turbo

Car is logged as a 1.3 still. Cosmetically the car is a solid shell all round except for some surface rust patches and scratches here and there. Respray would pretty much make this stand out perfectly. Previous owner let the condition slip a little and my intentions were to completely overhaul it and bring it back to life but another car has caught my eye so i have to make way with this in order to get it.
Its a very nippy and fun Golf for sure and has some 'shock factor' to say the least. It would make perfect for someone more thorough to carry on restoring condition wise or to use as it is. Previous owner claimed it was mapped to 197bhp which no proof was provided. It certainly feels quicker than a standard AGU lump but i cant prove this claim. With the new exhaust setup i have added and a better boost piping setup, it would certainly be ready for a map by R-tech or someone similar to get dialled in properly. I personally had intended to wait until i had got a K300 turbo and supporting mods before doing this.
SInce owning the car i have done a lot of rectification work with the conversion including completing a half done wiring job by previous owner. There is still some tidying up to do with this but i have left it as is as the plan was to smooth the bay over and tuck it all.
1.8T AGU engine with custom boost piping and Mercedes Sprinter intercooler setup. Hammered black and grey engine styling kit has been fitted. Audi R8 Oil cap. Powertec Induction filter.
Brand new Trackslag 2.5" downpipe has just been fitted along side a 2.5" Jetex exhaust system which i had planned to modify further with a new back box design more suited to the car. This is perfect for mapping to stage two and beyond if you add a K03S and supporting mods.
Brakes have been upgraded to GTI discs all round and is sat on Pro sport coilovers.
I have just installed a brand new Cat1 Thatcham Autowatch alarm and immobiliser has just been installed and features a working turbo timer and 2 auxillary louder multi-tone alarm sirens as well as fully functioning remote central locking.
Arches have been rolled tro accomodate the Zenders but ideally need doing again to tidy them up to accommodate wider wheels.
Zender wheels and 7 slat chrome grill are not for sale with the car, will come with standard steel wheels and grill.
Interior wise, it is pretty mint with no tear or rips but needs a real good clean to bring back to life. This was part of my winter plans. Carpet is dirty and could do with being replaced.
For the right money, i will leave the Pioneer bluetooth 24-bit headunit in along with the Polk Audio subs and Magnat amp, otherwise it will be removed.
