Known Issues
The alloy wheels need a complete refurb and one of them has a dent. It has passed 3 MOT’s since the pothole I hit damaged the wheel, but for perfect looks you may want to have it repaired, I hardly notice it so I never bother to get it fixed.
Although the car is generally in good condition all round it could probably do with a little bit of tidying. For example, someone gave the front a gentle tap with their car in a car park and now if you look really closely you can see the bumper is slightly out of alignment….most people don’t notice it, but you might which is why I mention it.
I have not hooked up the DAB aerial as it needs to get its power from a better live than the radio live (so I’ve been told). I never listen to the radio so it didn’t bother me. It is in the glove box for someone to fit properly if required.
Plastidip is an excellent job. I did it myself, it’s the 6th full car spray I have done and stands up to all scrutiny. There is a tiny bit of peel behind the driver’s door handle where it’s difficult to get the spray in (on the handle not the body), but not noticeable to anyone but the person using it and wont spread due to the seam on the handle.
Number plates are slightly tatty.
As you can see I have been very picky with the known issues. Mechanically the car is spot on and has full service history and never wanted for anything. The car gets admiring glances and comments everywhere it goes. Getting the roof down in the summer is amazing and it gets even more looks then.
The blue is a matt finish with a slight pearl as you can see in the pics. Its custom made by me so you will never see another car this colour. If you don’t like it the Plastidip can be peeled off to reveal the excellent black paintwork underneath.
It has most of the toys you could order apart from blue tooth which I added. It doesn’t have the TV Sat Nav system but I think that might have been M3 only…not sure.
I am willing to look at any kind of car for swaps....im hoping to get something quick this time round so let me know what you have. I value this car around £6k
